What to Bring to Crivitz Printer Friendly Version

We'll be spending a great deal of time outdoors. Even the weather can't keep the fun at bay. We've enjoyed Crivitz in the heat, cold, sun, and rain . . . sometimes all in the same day! Here is a list of things to bring to make sure your weekend is enjoyable.

This is a Bring Your Own Beverages and snacks event, folks. Bringing drinking water is a really good idea if the weather will be hot. We don't want anyone getting heat stroke.

We're all on our own for meals. Sorry, folks. There's no free lunch . . . or breakfast or dinner for that matter. Plan to bring your meals or eat out. We all usually eat at Tommy's Bar and Grill on Friday night. Saturday night we usually gather at the Mickey Mouse Club (aka The Peshtigo River Resort).

Bring your beverages and snacks in NON-BREAKABLE (i.e., plastic or aluminum) containers. Open water and glass do not mix. People will be barefoot, and we don't want anyone hurt.

Other items to remember:
Swimsuit
Beach towel (save the motel towels for your shower or bath)
T-shirts
Tank tops
Sweatshirt and/or Jacket (it will be cold in the evening)
Raincoat or rain jacket (if the weather forecast calls for it)
Umbrella
Shorts
Long pants (i.e., jeans for the cool evening)
Sandles
Sneakers
Aqua socks or old sneakers (for climbing below the south dam - the rocks are slippery and sharp)
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Small cooler to take to Sand Island and The Rock with your "stash".
Camera with extra film and batteries
Bandages and antibiotic ointment
Fishing license if you bring your fishing pole
Cards, dominoes, board games
